The standard cover provides compensation for death or bodily injury arising from accident without establishing negligence. Unless restricted, the cover is operational worldwide and on a 24-hour basis. The cover includes murder and assault.
Medical expenses incurred arising from an accident can also be included in the Policy.
The sum insured is usually in multiples of the employee's annual salary depending on his seniority and length of service or on a lump sum basis according to designation.
