These factors, combined with confidence and reliability, are our standards for customer service anywhere in the world," comments Allianz CEO Michael Diekmann.
In 2009 Allianz agreed a unique, global partnership with St Andrews Links Trust, also known as the 'Home of Golf'. Golf has been played at the Links on the east coast of Scotland for 600 years, and the courses have been the setting for some of the sport's most memorable moments.
Allianz is active in supporting golf tournaments in many countries, such as the St Andrews Links Trophy at the historic Old Course in St Andrews Links, one of the most prestigious amateur tournaments in the world.
The home of the two Munich soccer clubs - FC Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich beacme a city's landmark with high perception and global awareness. With the naming right, Allianz is taking response as a main sponsor and financial partner of the arena.
The relationship with FC Bayern Munich exists since 2000 and was reinforced upon the completion of the Allianz Arena in 2005. As the premium partnership with FC Bayern Munich generates new opportunities for sports-related communication, Allianz has already extended its sponsorship commitment to FC Bayern in the form of a comprehensive sponsorship package up to 2010.
When Allianz initiated the partnership with the International Paralympic Committee and the German National Committee (Deutscher Behindertensportverband, DBS) in 2006, the company committed itself to support the Paralympic Athletes in preparing for the Paralympic Games and also to reduce stereotyping and to promote courage and equality.
